2011 - Crazy petalS
Abhirup formed his own Band Crazy petalS and started his professional career with them. They performed all over West Bengal and out of the State. In 2014, they performed by featuring Kartik Das Baul. He performed with his band in several popular events such as ‘Sonar Gour 2013’, ‘Kolkata Tattoo Expo 2014’, ‘Channel V Launchpad 2014’,‘93.5 Indo-Bangladesh Azadi Rock Fest 2015’, ‘Band Hunt R Plus News 2017’, ‘J.U Sanskriti 2018’, ‘Bandish 2018 & 2019’ and many more. Abhirup has played more than Hundred shows for Crazy petalS during 11 years where some of those were under Press & Media Coverages. He was renamed there as the ‘Backbone of the Band’ by everyone’s love.
2015 - 2016 - Silajit Live LineUp
He came into contact with the Indian Bengali Singer-Songwriter-Actor Silajit Majumder who was in need of a drummer for his line up along with Khanda Bhattacharya, another vocalist of that band. Abhirup joined and played with them for few shows.
2017 - Sayani Palit
Sayani Palit is an Bollywood and Tollywood Playback Singer who is the winner of Big Golden Voice Season 2. Her debut playback is ‘Ove janiya’ from the Bollywood Movie ‘Katti Batti’ under Music Direction of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Recently she has made her bengali playback for the Film ‘Asur’. Abhirup joined her Band in 2017, being recommended by Avirup Das Bunty, the most eminent drummer and multi percussionist from the Band, Fakira. Abhirup has been playing Drums for six long years with Sayani Palit.
2019 - Timir Biswas
Timir Biswas, a massive popular Singer in India and outside of India, is recognised by his band ‘Fakira’. Parallely he has done playback for Bengali Movies like ‘033’, ‘Dui Prithibi’, ‘Zulfiqar’, ‘Maach Mishti & More’, ‘Bojhena Se Bojhena’, ‘The Play’, ‘Aschorjo Pradip’, ‘Durga Sohay’, ‘Rajlakkhi o Srikanto’ and so on. Abhiup was choosen as a drummer to perform with the band ‘Timir Biswas Live’ that rendered his playback hits and favourite covers.
2022 - Bangladesh Concert
On October, 2022 Abhirup travelled to Bangladesh with Tamal Das and Sohini Sarkar, who were the popular faces of the Reality Show ‘Star Jalsa Super Singer.’ He performed over there for the Biggest Durga Puja Event.
2022 - Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa
Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa is the biggest Reality Show of West Bengal. Abhirup appeared and performed as a guest drummer with Gourab Sarkar, Abhratanu Ghosh and Asmita Sarkar, who became the Champion of in 2022-2023 season. Their performance was highly appreciated by the Judges. Abhirup also performed with Legendary Indian Playback singer Babul Supriyo and the most famous Music Director Shantanu Maitra on that special episode.
2023 - Anwesha Dutta
Anwesha is Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa Champion of 2014 by winning millions of hearts through her mesmerizing voice. She is a versatile singer and performer and a very popular face on regular Zee Bangla Programmes. Internationally Anwesha has travelled to the USA & Bangladesh several times to perform. She has formed her own band ‘Anwesha & The Alternates’ along with Abhirup and they have started performing in Live Concerts.
Moreover, Abhirup has performed with some extremely eminent Singers of Kolkata Music Industry like Siddhartha Ray Sidhu (Cactus), Jojo Mukherjee, Iman Chatterjee, Amit Tandon, Soumya Chakraborty (2015 Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa Champion, Participant of Indian Idol).
Abhirup has recorded songs with Shaona Khan, daughter of Ustad Rashid Khan, Gourab Sarkar, Pritam Roy Ananya Chakraborty and Abhratanu Ghosh, the popular faces of 2019 Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa.
